New Patients are always welcome in our practice. A Note about Dental Insurance Even if we are not participating in your insurance plan, if you have a plan that allows you to go out of network and still receive some reimbursement, we will be happy to submit the insurance claims for you and accept assignment for the insurance company's estimated portion. We do this as a courtesy for our patients. Although we make every effort to keep up with insurance benefits and limitations, it is the patient's responsibility to know the specifics of their plan, keep track of benefits used, and to keep us up to date with any changes in insurance. There are thousands of plans, so, unfortunately, we cannot keep up with the nuances of every individual plan for every patient. All estimated co-payments are always due at the time of service, and patients are responsible for any remaining balance after the insurance payments are received. Please be aware that dental insurance is a form of financial assistance for your dental care. Insurance does not pay for everything you need. There are different percentages paid for different types of procedures, annual benefit limitations (i.e. $1000 per year), and many procedures that you may need or want are not covered by insurance (i.e. cosmetic procedures, implants, nitrous oxide, etc.). Please note that we treatment plan and make recommendations based on your individual needs, not according to what your insurance contract covers. Whether or not you go to a dentist who participates with your plan, you will frequently incur out-of-pocket expenses beyond what your insurance provides benefits for each year. The choice of a dentist should always be yours, and we hope that you will choose us to serve your dental needs. We look forward to meeting you. Financial Policy Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and debit cards. We can also arrange financing for you through one of our financing companies (CitiHealth Card* or CareCredit*) if you need payment arrangements. *Credit application and company approval required for financing options
